I was wondering what your favorite of all the Jason films is. Anyone and all of you out there.
Personally I thought part 6, Jason Lives, was the best. It had creative kills and the storyline kept you involved and interested. I liked Thom Matthews in it a lot and I thought the ending was pretty perfect. I say perfect because we know by part 6 Jason won't be stopped, and Matthews' character Jarvis realizes this and so traps him underwater so he is unable to do harm. Most of us would've probably tried shooting him in the head a few more times and then out-running him back to civilization.
Part 8 to me comes in second. I don't really know why because too much time is spent on the boat and NOT in Manhatten, but the scenes that Are in Manhatten are great! Plus I liked the song at the end of 8, that classic dark 80's rock.
Though a lot of people don't like it, I like Jason Goes to Hell. I like the fact that they added in the scene with the Necronomicon. Also, it changes Jason from an undead killer to a force of nature. In some ways it sets things up for Jason X, because adding the Lovecraft reference adds a sort of sci fi aspect to Jason. _________________ T.T.F.N.

Interesting you say part 9 because my friend who was an establish film critic and now lives out in West Hollywood likes 9 as well. He also cited one reason being the references it had in it to other horror movies. I liked 9 however i found it a little jumbled all in all. But the way they made Jason look in part 9 was more bad-ass then any other Jason in the series. His head was bigger and more deformed and he just looked so bad-ass. They should have kept that look for Jay X etc. _________________ happiness controls you.

I don't know. I actually thought that the, what I call, Frankenstein Jason in Freddy VS Jason was pretty interesting. But that is mostly because the film reminds me of the last two Frankenstein films in the classic Universal horror series, House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula.... _________________ T.T.F.N.
