I've heard recently that the DC subsidiary Wildstorm has gotten the license from New Line to do comics for Friday The 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
From what I've heard f13 fans are a bit put off by having a subsidiary of DC doing F13. They figure that Wildstorm will try to tone down these books and take away the things about these franchises that the fans love.
